Elder Brownfield, August 8th, 2011

well this week flew by as usual we had a zone training this past weekend got to interview with pres. killpack and hes is a great guy i wish I would have gotten to know him better but yeah i found out a couple things one that i will be released by the stake pres. in shoreline and that i will get to go to the gila valley temple on the 23rd before I leave that be awesome i love the temple and i especially love this one having been able to be there for the dedication and to help out withsoe of the seating i really got to know my way around there butt this also means i will be able to say goodbyes to everyone there so yeah yesterday we had a faith promoting experience we forgot to fill the truck up with gas on Saturday and come Sunday morning as we went to church, the gas light came on well needless to say we drive 20 min to church and trying to get our gators to come took up alot of that time but we had exactly enough to do what we needed to and barely enough to drive to the gas station this morning well i love yall and cant wait to hear from you and hope all is well

hey there everyone well today was transfers and I'm staying in midvale ward for my last transfer and i my new comps name is elder russon he's from provo utah but hes pretty sweet and I'm pretty excited for this transfer it should be a great way to end it and i don't think i would want any other comp anyways so that's about the jest of the week it started raining again and that's been nice but yeah I'm hoping to get a couple more people baptized before i go home but we will see what happens anyways that's been about it but i hope all is going well and hope to hear from yall soon! love yall

well this week was transfers and my comp and i are staying together another one so that should be good, and then as i said last week our mission pres. goes home in two or three weeks so that's pretty crazy and then from the i have two months left and that's scary i have to come back to reality and worry about all the things that come with being an adult again i think its almost harder than the first time i did it because now i know whats coming and that's a little bit scary anyways this week will be a good week and i will have so me cool stories to tell next week im sure okey dokey well i love yall and hope that you have an awesome week and i will talk to you soon !

well it has been confirmed I'm a bum sorry for not writing to everyone in a while things have pretty busy but not busy enough ive been missing yall more and more lately and i know i only have3 months leftbut those 3 months almost feel longer than the last 21 months some days the area im in is good but i really did leave part of my heart in my last area and im trying to love this area now but its been a little harder to do there just isnt that same vibe as my last area but all is well I'm safe healthy and teaching the gospel so it cant be too bad : ) this next week will be transfers and that should be interesting im not sure what will happen on this one but i have 2 left so im pretty sure i will be in the same spot for the rest of my mission but we will see what the lord wants oh and on the first of july i will be getting a new mission pres. so that will be weird but im sure i will love them just as much but yeah so june and the beginning of july should be a pretty busy time for us well ive been spouting off enough im sure but hope yall are doing well and i will talk to been yall soon : )

happy mothers day to all those wonderful mothers! well this week went by pretty quick as most of them go now days but nothing really too exciting happened, a couple of weeks ago i got to pet a 80 pound feline osilis? i think its called but it was huge a member down hereowns one and it was pretty cool but other than that still getting into the swing of things here but it should be a really good transfer well I got to go but i love you all and hope yall have a great week and we will talk later : )

well this week was pretty crazy but i got through it i hate transfer week because I'm on edge all week and as for transfers i got tansfered and I'm now in sahurita its 30min south of tucson and it seems like it will be a pretty good area oh and my new adress is 1970 W Valencia rd apt #349 tucson AZ 85746 so if you get the itch to send a letter this would be the address: ) well other than that my new comps name is elder whitney and hes a transfer younger than i am so things will be good I'm sure ok well i love yall and cant wait to hear form you soon!

Elder Brownfield, April 11th, 2011

well this week has come and gone again but nothing too exciting today for p day we are going to go to the desert museum so that should be sweet and i found out that the biodome is just north of Tucson about an hour so that's pretty cool i would love to go there it would be pretty cool to say Ive been to the biodome but we will see well that about it next weekend we will be having a baptism for Teresa Gallegosshes 12 and her mom got baptized in January so that is exciting and then Gigi will be getting baptized on the 30th so keep both of them in your prayers and that's about it for this week, oh on Saturday we had a pretty good rain and it got me pretty excited to have rain again in af ew months but i just have to endure the summer here well i love y'all and hope you have a great week and we will talk to y'all later !

Elder Brownfield, March 21st , 2011

well this week unfortunately this week i have no new exciting stories to tell no bullets flying through the apartment no beer bottles thrown at us no crazy contacts but sometimes those weeks are good but yeah I'm starting to get back into shape cause we've been biking every day now and I'm already getting pretty dark so that will be interesting 5 months from now but hey hopefully biking in the scorching sun has some benefits but yeah this week we should be teaching a few new gators and we probably wont have any baptisms till April but things are looking good for April so yeah I'm rambling but i hope all is well and we will talk to you next week love y'all and we will talk soon! : )

ok well today was transfers and my comp and i are both staying so that will be good and we have another set of elders coming into our district so it will be a little bigger and this transfer I'm going to be district leader but the funny thing is Elder Kern will be hes coming in from sierra vista and i was his first district leader so hopefully i set the tone for him and I'm sure he will do great other than that not much else has happened only it been in the high 80s all week so I'm sure it will be a hard summer this year ok well that's about it hopefully something comes up this week that will be worth writing ok well i love y'all and hope you have a great week!

hey there everyone this week has been pretty good but i realize i haven't really updated anyone for the past few weeks but things are going well my comp elder Wallis had surgery a few weeks ago and is doing much better now it took a couple weeks for him to re- coup but all is well now other than that we have been laying low alot we will be having a baptism for Gigi in the next couple weeks so that should be pretty exciting last week on p day i went hiking and it kicked my butt but it was fun and this week is the week before transfers so we will get transfer calls on Sunday and transfers will be on Tuesday so i wont email till Tuesday next week but other than that all is well down here it was in the 80s last week so i got the fist shade of my awesome missionary tan : ) ok well that's all for now love you all and hope you have a great week this week!

hey there everyone this week has been pretty good we had a good week except for i got sick on Thursday and have been trying to fight that but other than that we are seeing alot of miracles in this area yesterday there was more people at church that i didn't know than i did which is good but i didn't get a chance to talk to all of them but I'm sure someone did but yeah the work is going well and my comp and i are getting along pretty well hes awesome well i cant think of anything else to exciting , today's valentines day but that doesn't mean too much right now.... haha , oh and my birthday is coming up but other than that nothing all that exciting hopefully i will have a good story next week for you well i love yall a bunch and will talk to you next week : )

well this week flew by again we had PJs baptism on Saturday and that was awesome she is definitely prepared for the gospel and we should be having another baptism this week if all goes well so we are very excited about that and also the reason why i am writing in Tuesday is cause today was transfers and i got a new companion his name is elder wallace hes pretty cool so far and I'm sure things will go well this transfer crazy how fast its moving they say the days go by slow but the weeks go by fast and the months go by even faster its so true i hit 17 months last week and it has gone by quick anyways things are well down here it rained a little yesterday that was nice, well things are going good i hope all is well up there and i miss yall but i will be home soon enough love yall and have a great week : )

well this week hasn't been too eventful but we have been seeing a lot of people asking more questions since the shooting a few weeks ago and as you know we love questions so that helps out a lot and as for people getting baptized P.J McGee is getting baptized on the 29th of this month so we are very excited she has been investigating the church for a few years and now knows that she wants to be baptized and then we have Natalie Gallegos on the 5th of feb. so we are pretty excited well all is well down here and i hope everything is going well up there today is supposed to be 77 so we get to take off the jackets : ) well hope you have a great week !

hey there everyone well first things first the red robins was amazing and hopefully it wont be 8 months till i get it again anyways this week has been good we've had a lot of people who have been investigating the church forever we call them eternigators but just about all of them are starting to get excited about the gospel again and are keeping their commitments and looking forward to being baptized I've had a few of them this week tell me that i must be the closer because they haven't made any progress for a while and now they are starting to pick up the pace so next month should be a great month for people getting baptized and its great to think that I've been able to help these people but its not me at all I'm just making sure I'm worthy enough and in tune with the spirit enough to convey his message anyways this week should be great I'm looking forward to it and I'm looking forward to your emails next week love y'all and we will talk next week : )

hey everyone happy new year! well this week went by as quick as usual and not too much crazy happened except it got pretty cold down here its been in the 20s all week in the evenings at least so riding our bikes has been an adventure : ) but this past week we had two people get baptized Kristin Dolgaard and Jason Cummins they are awesome, some great people who are making the strides to come closer to the savior well im not sure what else to say, my comp elder bird and i are getting along really well and its his birthday today so we are going to red robins for lunch....yum ! well i love yall and hope you have a great week and we will talk to you next week : )

well there everyone its been a couple weeks since ive written but i was transferred to tucson again and my new comp is elder bird we get along pretty well so it should be a pretty good transfer as for baptisms we have two on saturday kristen and jason they are awesome but i will let you know more about it next week, i hope yall had a great Christmas and hope you have a wonderful new year i love yall and we will talk to you next year : )

well this week has gone by pretty quick again not too much has happened but this week looks jam packed full of things to do on wednesday we have zone conference in thatcher so that will take up most of the day and then on the 14th we get to go to the temple so we are really excited for that, oh and last week i started feeling a little sick and ive had a sore throat ever since so im going to the docs today to see if its anything bad but yeah other than that not too much happening, transfers is coming up on the 20th so we'll see what that brings well i love yall and hope you have a great week!

well lots of things to write about this week thanksgiving was great we ate a ton and had a ton to be thankful for, got to play some football and then we had a pretty crazy thing happen on wednesday morning about 3 am we had a police officer knock on the door and said that the neighbor had shot off his gun in his apartment and that he needed to come in to find the bullet and apparently we didn't hear it go through our stove hit right near the front door then bounce into the middle of the living room so we found the bullet and tried to go back to sleep but we had like 45 min till we had to get up after all that so we ended up having an early start on the day and then found out later that the neighbor was a police officer and that he had just gotten home and set his gun down and i discharged so i don't think anything happened but everyone is safe and nothing lost but a little sleep well that's my crazy story for the week, this week shouldn't be as exciting hopefully well i hope all is well and that yall had a great Thanksgiving and i will report back next week love yall ! : )

well this week flew by i got to make a trip to tucson again for some training and then tomorrow we will be going to the gila valley my old area for some more training so im staying busy : ) and my comp elder burke is great we are really getting along well so this should be a great transfer and on saturday Dan Baskas will be getting baptized so this week should be great : ) well thanks for all the love, prayers, and support form everyone and i will talk to yall next week : )

well i didn't get transferred this week but I'm getting a new comp. his name is elder burk hes from miami florida and hes been out about 9 months so it should be good ,so on friday one of the people i taught here Ray Padilla he was able to baptize his twins, they just turned 8 and i was able to stand in and confirm them so that was a really cool experience to see some of the fruit of what im doing : ) oh and nothing to crazy this week but im sure something will happen to tell next week oh and in a couple weeks the 20th Dan baskas will be getting baptized so that will be awesome he's a great guy oh and i will try to send some pics of the other baptisms next monday ok well i hope y'all have a great week and ill talk to ya next week : )
