hey there everyone well another week has gone by so to update y'all I'm still in thatcher and my new comps name is Elder Buffington hes pretty cool but i miss my last comp Elder Torres he went home to the Philippines but not much else has changes here the whole zone got moved around but I'm in the blessed valley and i feel pretty fortunate being one of 15 missionaries who will be at the dedication and open house of the temple out of 180 missionaries I'm pretty lucky to be one of those well if you want you can look at some pics of the temple on lds.org and look up Gila Valley temple well i love y'all and hope you have a good week ! hey everyone this week has gone by pretty quick again they are starting to fly by now our transfer is over on the 14th and my comp. is going home so i will get a new comp. here pretty quick and I'm really excited about being here in the valley for the temple open house and dedication that will be very exciting to witness well things are going good but no new updates so far I'm in a full bike area we definitely get our exercise : ) I'm glad cause the members feed us too well ! well i have to go but i love you all and hope you have a good week! hey there everyone this week went by pretty quick again i hit 7 months on Fri i cant believe its been that long already but i still have a long way to go : ) well i don't have to much time today because I'm going golfing our recent convert Travis is taking us so I'm very excited first time in 7 months well i love you all and thanks for all the love and support and next week i will have more to say thanks again! hey there everyone well this week has gone by pretty quick not to much has happened except one of the investigators that the elders here have been teaching for 3 months now was baptized on Saturday his name is Travis Smith and its been awesome getting to know him well thatcher has been treating me pretty well no complaints I'm in a full bike area so I'm biking a ton and sad thing is i weighed myself the other day and i haven't gained a pound i was so angry : ) well things are looking up here we have a few people were teaching but I'm still trying to figure everything out we cover 3 wards so on Sunday we are super busy probably the busiest day of the week, serious we have meetings from 7 am to 5 pm and then we head straight to dinner from there so its pretty crazy but i will get a hang of it ! well that's about it cant wait to hear from you all next week: )

hey there everyone well this week has went by pretty quick, I'm really liking it here in the Gila valley and still really excited about the area and all the work going on down here so i made a mistake on my address down here it is 3393 w main st. #17 so i hope nobody sent a letter yet this week has been super busy but I'm still way excited, and thank you everyone for writing me it really means a lot to me getting the updates on family and i know everyone always says that nothing really exciting is happening but everything is exciting to me just being able to read the emails from every one means a ton so even if you don't have anything to say I'm fine with that i just enjoy hearing from people : ) well not much else has happened this week but I'm sure i will have more to writer next week thanks for all the love and support ! love you all and have a great week ! Elder Brownfield, March 8th, 2010

hey there everyone well this week has been crazy! so first off i got transferred to thatcher Arizona its the smallest town in the state i swear probably the size of Ferndale or so, that's kinda what it reminds me of actually and there are a ton of members here so its pretty nice and the best part about thatcher is a temple is going up here and the open house will be April 23 to may 15 its actually called the Gila valley temple but its right here in thatcher. my new comp. is Elder Torres hes pretty cool hes from the Philippines and this is his last transfer so there is no guessing about it i will be here for the open house and the dedication and the cultural celebration and the prophet will be here to dedicate the temple so i am very excited to be here the work is so much different here than in Tucson mostly cause the members help out a lot more and another nice perk is we practically get every thing free or discounted (free dairy queen!! I'm going to get FAT!) so for a missionary its pretty much amazing here oh and my new address is 3993 W. main st apt #17 Thatcher AZ 85552 well hope to here from you all soon, i was sad to leave Tucson but now I'm excited to be here! well i have to go love you all ! Elder Brownfield, March 1st, 2010

hey there everyone this week went by pretty quick again but we had Carries baptism this weekend and it was great definitely felt the spirit and her mom was there and will be taking the lessons here pretty soon so we are very excited for their family! Dave's doing great he received the priesthood yesterday so that was awesome it made my day, well things are going really good here and transfers are on Wednesday so i have a feeling that i will be transferred that's how it usually happens but i will find out tonight whether i leave or not so we will see; its been a good 6 months here and i would be sad to leave but if the lord wants me else where that's where i will go, thanks too all those who wrote me this last week i really enjoyed hearing from you all well I've got to go but love you all and hope you have a great week!
